Headed back to Pendleton, Oregon to take down the “shadows of the west” show. Such a long build up for a month long exhibition! I really enjoyed the experience and the opportunity, it just went by fast like all good things do. Most of these paintings will remain in crates until the next show in late July.
Driving across the more empty portions of the state fills me with nostalgia. Seeing boats and fishermen makes me think of a lot of fun adventures gone.
It was incredibly beautiful with distant rain squalls and amazing cloud formations… I still love a good road trip!!!
month goes by so fast eh, for the amount of time spent.
they are good paintings

It’s always a bit sad to take down a show. love the highway shot, because, yes, that’s really part of the show experience!
It’s great that you have a new one in July.

I was wondering how it went … glad to hear you enjoyed the experience and I can see plenty of inspiration for your art from your road trip photos. š All the best for the July preparation.
