My solo show opened last night at the McVarish Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. I was excited to have my parents attend one of my shows, along with my Aunt and Uncle! A lot of great people showed up and made the evening fun and kept me talking. Here is a collection of photos from the evening.
Congratulations, Brian! Hope it was a big success — and lots of fun, too.

I hope you did well, how nice to have all that natural light on your work. I used to have shows (I was a watercolourist), but haven’t in decades. 🙂

Thanks it is still going on, pretty happy with this show! I work with transparent acrylic paints so a similar luminosity to water colors!

Transparent acrylics… you mean with a gloss medium or thinned layers?

Gloss thinned layers, I quit using white paint almost 3 years ago.
