Four finished pieces that will be at my upcoming solo show “Dreams Between Darkness”. The show opens June 11th at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The show will consist of 20-24 paintings, these are by far the smallest works.

Four moon paintings being prepped for a group exhibit. The show is called “Many Moons” at Robert Lange Studios in Charleston, South Carolina. Happy to be invited to participate.

This is one of the large paintings that will be featured at my upcoming solo show. The exhibit is titled “Dreams Between Darkness “, and opens June 11th at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

Some new shimmering work. There was a time when I thought a 24”x18” board was big… now it just seems like a fun size to paint. I am putting together a large collection of pieces with these dimensions, some should be available at my solo show June 11th at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

I just finished this dark intriguing piece. I posted it here a while back as a WIP. I am locked up in the studio scrambling to get paintings finalized for my upcoming solo show. The exhibit will be in Astoria, Oregon at the RiverSea Gallery! The show opens June 11th.

This one feels like a special painting. I haven’t decided if it should be part of my solo show or a group show I was invited to participate in featuring the moon as a theme.
A new painting that is part of a water inspired collection I am currently working on. These paintings are all painted on a square deep cradled wood panel. I finish them with a gold leaf edge.

A conversation about my art, my approach and making a living as an artist.

Happy Earth Day, now check out the moon. We seem dead set on destruction but somehow the planet is still spinning… good job earth.
