A serene new painting in the studio. I really enjoy working on these 18” x 24” boards, a very manageable size. I am excited to start on much larger paintings in the near future!!

A small but dramatic painting now available through Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana!
The painting is now framed with a nice black floater frame, my favorite way to display my work. Sadly I do not have a photo of it framed.

I was happy to hear that this painting was sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. These photographs were taken almost exactly a year ago.

Reflecting the season on Lake Pend Oreille, in North Idaho. The time change and darkening is always more than a little oppressive. The upside, very little distraction from precious studio time.
I am thankful for the rain we are getting this time of year, fire season behind us now. Soon the rain will turn to snow. The seasons have their charm.

A new painting in the studio today. It is always a strange feeling when you have shipped a years worth of work to a show. I dive back in and do what I do.

Burning Hours has been framed and shipped, on its way to Asheville, North Carolina. One of twenty paintings in my soon to open solo show at Momentum Gallery.
I will miss seeing these paintings in the studio, it is suddenly very empty and boring. Back to work, much more painting ahead of me.

Two autumnal paintings from last fall will be part of my solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. These two have shipped and will be at the gallery next week. My exhibit opens May 9th!

This is the final painting completed for my upcoming solo show. Now the busy work of photographing the 20 paintings and packing them up to ship. All of the artwork will be available through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.

A new painting on the studio today. The clouds in this piece are relatively simple but utterly hypnotic. A little bit of Hawaii to brighten the day.

I am finishing this new painting in the studio today. It is a dangerously cold day in North Idaho, and not warm at all in my studio. That being said I am always happy to spend the day painting.
