A new painting on the easel, inspiration from my home in Idaho. I am working on many new pieces at the moment, much more to come. I am ramping up for my ponchos at Haven Gallery. I am always painting but now with a specific bit of focus.

The sky burns with the endless march of time.
A new cloudscape in the studio today. I love exploring light and motion. A cloudscape void of any landscape or anchors to the ground, such as mountains or trees, is intriguing to me.

Endless inspiration at the days conclusion. Nature in general is a constant source of enthusiasm, a precious well. I have prepared a number of 18” wood panels, more to come!

Fall is a beautiful time of year but always a bit melancholy. Daylight getting shorter and all the more precious. It has proven especially inspiring to me this year.

Inspiration from a gorgeous fall on Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. It has been a warm and colorful autumn in my neck of the woods. A windstorm cleared out a lot of the leaves but I’m not done with them just yet.

A new colorful painting in the studio this morning. I have six 12”x12” panels and I am dedicating them all to water imagery.

This one has evolved with many days and layers.

Final capture of this piece I sold last week. Now I just need to sign it, varnish and frame the painting! I always postpone those final details… reluctant to commit to the permanence I suppose.

A little patch of water for Tuesday.

Varnishing and finalizing this painting. Shipping it across the border to Washington State this week!
I am fortunate and so great full that I am continuing to sell my work during these times.
