My 2024 solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina ends June 22nd! Last chance to see this huge collection in person. These paintings represent a huge chunk of time, I poured my heart into them.
Thank you to Samantha Keely Smith, for providing the video I used in this reel. She is one of my favorite painters, check her out if you haven’t seen her work!

Work continues, patterns reveal. Painting is always an exploration with endless potential like the best things in life.
Playing with some low relief textures. If you want a perfectly smooth application of the primer (gesso) a brush is a better choice. To get some interesting textures in the surface a knife is always fun. I use palette knives constantly for everything.

Working on some smaller paintings. Finding new paths on old roads.
