Two recent paintings on the studio table. Paintings are really piling up this year. I generally pick through older works and reuse the boards if I don’t think the paintings are up to my standards. These two will probably be kept.

This one resides in Kirkland, Washington with some of my favorite people.

More wave experiments before starting a large commission.

This small piece is available through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. I put this one in a really beautiful custom made floater frame that has a copper tint.

Sold through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

I started this painting just about a year ago. I decided it was time to finish it or prep the surface for a new painting. I ended up adding some wave detail and strengthening the contrast.

Another large painting in the works in my studio.

Final image of this painting from a High Resolution scan. Minimalist approach to the shine of water.

Two recent favorites now at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. I sent them a collection of six. I would really love to checkout the gallery. They have built a beautiful new gallery in a great location.
With snow on the roads it’s better just to stay in the studio for now.

Final shot of this powerful piece, headed to Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. This is the largest painting in a collection of five that just reached the gallery!
