An instagram reel of “witness”, a WIP. Painting the moon and nocturnal scenes is definitely a challenge. I am enjoying this painting!

Ocean Song

I framed this new painting with a black floater frame. This is one of two paintings I will be shipping to the Grand Bohemian Gallery in St. Augustine, Florida.
Rainbow (another look)

It is hard to believe this painting is almost 7 years old, they grow up so fast. Simply posting this one because it is a bad ass painting.
Currents

A new water painting! I am still painting on these 16”x12” panels, only one more left now!
Things to Come

I just finished up my newest painting, “Things to Come”. It is a vibrant and meditative piece, it will probably be heading to a gallery in Florida. I still have to sign, varnish and frame the painting and of course package and ship so there is still work. Check out the silly IG reel to see it in motion in my studio!
Breaking

Winter has come roaring back to North Idaho. Lake Pend Oreille is freezing and snow is piling up. I was shifting away from my winter paintings, but here is a new one! I do love the dramatic lighting when the sunlight is breaking through the trees in the winter months.
Two for Sandpoint

I was pleased to sell these new paintings to a local collector. Apparently social media is still working! She stumbled across my Facebook site a month ago and decided she needed some of my art. It was nice avoiding the shipping charges!
Life’s Shine

A meditative little waterscape painting on a dark Friday morning. I am still painting these 12”x16” boards… I will have to switch it up a bit. Enjoy the weekend.
Mountain Blue

The beauty of the lake is a constant source of inspiration. Magical lighting and moments that disappear far too quickly.
Reflections

I am continuing my collection of smaller 12”x16” acrylic paintings. I have prepared a lot of boards this size and want to use them all before I move onto larger work. Seeking inspiration from my own work to pursue some larger pieces, that is my plan. My part of the world is my ultimate muse, the use of paint a close rival.
