Shadowed
Darkness lurks along the edge. The brightest day may bloom from night. Left on a forgotten road it always finds the way.

One of my favorite pieces, painted in late December of 2018. It started me down an exciting path of exploration. I keep myself open to ideas and am willing to pursue imagery that is compelling to me even if I know it is unlikely to be popular. The Harbinger is currently on display at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. They have a nice little collection of my work so stop in if you are on the Oregon Coast.

Human Chain
24”x24”, acrylic
Busy varnishing artwork for my upcoming show. So much work to sort through, so much exploration.

This painting shares its title with the ongoing series. It is such a bloom, I just couldn’t help it! The piece is probably my favorite to date in the series. These paintings are a bit hypnotic, I find myself lost in thought staring into them.
