A new painting on the easel in my studio today! I continue my obsession with atmosphere, light and lakes of the north. I wish I could hold onto the moments and feelings. Painting is the only way I know.

A moody new painting on the easel. Inspiration from Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho.

The finished painting of “Spring’s Promise”. I am leaning into the beauty of the lake and sunshine as our temperatures in North Idaho are suddenly skyrocketing. When I started this painting the snow was piled up, now it is in the mud 80’s… big change in a month.

This painting was sold a couple years ago through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. I am currently witnessing a lot of gorgeous seas and contemplating future paintings. It has been a gift to have a long and only briefly planned voyage to the Caribbean with one of my best buddies. I definitely have been thinking about painting relentlessly, eager to get back to my work.

This large painting is available through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The gallery currently has a large collection of my work!

A newly completed collection of work! These three paintings are now available through the Grand Bohemian Gallery in Saint Augustine, Florida.

This large painting has shipped and is on its way to Saint Augustine, Florida. I am really pleased to be working with this gallery. The gallery is putting together a nice collection of my work… hope to visit, preferably in the winter!

Some final translucent glazes on the painting this morning. The piece is nearing the finish line. More inspiration from the North country, specifically Lake Pend Oreille in North, Idaho!

New pieces now available through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. I love this gallery, I have been working with them now for nearly 7 years.

One of three paintings I have shipped off to Denver, Colorado. They will be available through a landscape artist show at Abend Gallery. This is a really cool gallery, I had a show there during the Pandemic so I wasn’t able to attend… some day.
