A brand new painting in the studio! I varnished this piece right before the Super Bowl on Sunday. great win for the Seahawks!
This is one of four 30” x 40” paintings I am finalizing for my upcoming solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, NC.

A large cloudscape in the studio. This is part of an extensive collection of new works.

I spent the weekend finalizing older paintings and fresh pieces for my upcoming solo exhibition at Momentum Gallery. This painting is from late 2024.
I am trying to narrow the show to twenty pieces.

A new painting on the easel. I have been working on this piece off and on for about a week. I have much to do for my upcoming solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.

I revisited this large painting. Now it has the gravitas I was aiming for!
This piece will most likely be part of my upcoming solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. I am still working on paintings and making decisions.

I finished this painting yesterday. I started it late last year but it needed a bit of glazing and a couple of tweaks. This one is fairly simple but has such a mesmerizing glow and presence.

This 16” x 20” painting is on the smaller side. I have a number of large scale paintings in the works so this was a nice diversion.
Final painting of 2025, here is hoping for a peaceful 2026.

Finishing one last painting before Christmas! Like many people I will be spending time with family and friends over the holidays. I am so excited to see people that I love that I don’t see as often as I would like. It is also difficult for me to take time away from the studio, my obsessive nature no doubt.

More inspiration from Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. I have been living on the lake for nearly a decade. The beauty is always an inspiration. I am always chasing the light in my art. The world feels so very dark far too often.
