This large new painting is freshly varnished, waiting on a frame. It will be heading to Robert Lange Studios in Charleston, South Carolina. One of two paintings I will be exhibiting in their “Cloudy” show opening on August 4th.

I am loving these summer days at home. Some painting, swimming and boating. The season is short but I can’t stop painting and must lean into the splendor!!!

I put the final layer of color on this dramatic new piece. This painting has taken most of the week to create, worth the time.
I have been painting on 11”x14” boards. Loose and bold storm related imagery. Aiming to catch light, exhilaration and motion. I am pleased with the results. I learned years ago I am the only one I need to please, and I’m a difficult critic!

I was pleased to hear that this painting was sold through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. When I shipped this off four months ago we were buried in snow up here in North Idaho. Now summer is blazing away.

I was pleased to learn that this painting was sold through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. It was an older piece I had nearly forgotten about, a nice surprise.

A new painting in celebration of summer light and the good things.
Excited to be back in the states and more importantly back in my studio. Painting is a solitary adventure I constantly crave.

I am starting a new series of cloud paintings featuring a bit of electricity! I have a number of 11”x14” canvas panels and decided to do a deep dive on the subject. If I am still excited upon their completion I may do a very large painting on the theme. I follow my own enthusiasm always.

I was pleased to hear that this painting was sold through Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. This painting is part of a “Landscape Painting” show I was invited to participate in.

This surreal dreamscape is framed and available through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.
