Painting a couple of cow portraits for a semi local Idaho gallery.

One of four paintings I will be framing and shipping to Abend Gallery in Denver Colorado. This piece is for a small works exhibit at the gallery in November.

An ancient light casting warmth and fear. Dancing to a rhythm it blends into the night. The question lost with a crack and spark.

This 21″x8″ painting was sold through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria Oregon.

So much work goes into a show! This is my third major exhibit of the year. California, Oregon and now Washington State! If you are near Vashon Island the Show opening is this Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Vashon Center for the Arts!

Today I am finalizing this painting. Still a ridiculous amount to get done for my upcoming exhibit on Vashon Island. The show opens October 4th but I have to deliver everything in one week. Lots of driving and even a ferry ride involved in this voyage. It has been a number of years since I have been on Vashon Island so I am sure it will be a fun little road trip.

I am a constant observer of the sky and water. Trying to capture the feeling of those magical fleeting moments.

I took a proper photo of this painting for my upcoming show on Vashon Island.

Nature and art are both free of sentimentality, somehow I am not.

Final capture of this painting that I am prepping for my upcoming Vashon Island exhibit.
