Something special in this one. I am always chasing that emotional connection in my work. It continues to drive me on.
I am really excited to be back in the studio after a vacation down to warmer country. The studio is the one place where possibilities seem endless. It is difficult and frustrating but still an escape from the crush of life.

A bit of crimson and gray on the easel, perhaps a dragon. I am continuing my work on 18” x 24” panels, very fun scale to work at.
I have show coming up this summer at Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. I have a long way to go, not a lot of time.

A dramatic new painting in the studio. I have been working on this piece along with two others for a while. They have been evolving together in intriguing ways.
All three of these paintings are on aluminum panels that have been primed and prepared for painting. I have used various brands off and on, need more of these!

A small but dramatic piece in the studio. I am going to have to buy more of these small panels, great fun.

Detail of a new painting in the studio. I am currently painting a number of 24” x 18” pieces, nice to have a little more room to roam.
A video of “Signals” hanging at Haven Gallery in Long Island, New York. This is part of my ongoing solo show “The Shadowland”.

I was happy to hear that this painting was sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. These photographs were taken almost exactly a year ago.

The Shadow Land
I invite you to step into The Shadow Land, my solo exhibition where I explore the
emotional landscapes of psychological isolation, beauty, and dreams. Through my
latest paintings, I aim to create a space where light and shadow come together,
revealing the delicate tension between solitude and the quiet beauty that resides
within. In these paintings, dreams are not just a form of escape, but a way of engaging
with the deeper recesses of the self.
The Shadow Land is not just an exhibition for me; it’s a personal journey I share with
you, inviting you to explore the emotional depths of the human experience. In the
quietest moments, we often find the most profound beauty.

These are just a few of the 15 featured new paintings in the show!

This small surreal piece is part of my upcoming show “The Shadowland”. The exhibit opens tomorrow at Haven Gallery!
