This afternoon I conducted my first painting workshop. I had 8 students and we spent a few hours playing with plexiglass painting. This took place at the closing of my solo show at Lewis-Clark State College.

I just posted these 10″x 10″ paintings on Ugallery. It is an art website that sells and markets artwork. They take a 50% commission but they also do help get your work seen. As paintings pile up I am starting to look at more ways to sell my work. I really enjoy having my paintings in a physical gallery but these days there are a lot of other options!

This 36″x36″ show will be part of the POAC members show in Sandpoint, Idaho. It will be on display until June 5th at the Columbia Bank in town.
Here is a collection of 10’x10′ studies I have painted this week. Lake Pend Oreille is frozen along much of it’s shoreline reluctantly giving up the ice to March. Giant clouds roll across the landscape in a constant dramatic shift. Photos don’t seem to do the beauty justice and my paintings barely hint at the spectacle…. we do what we can.

Clouds are endlessly fascinating to me, particularly when there is a bit of blue Sky visible! These three paintings are 10″x10″ cloud studies I recently finished. I am hoping to paint some large cinematic skies I the coming months, I will do a lot of small studies first!
