Six large paintings that are part of the collection I packed off to the Lewis-Clark State College. These are each 24″x24″.
Now that the chaos of show prep is behind me I am scaling back the size of my works again. More experimentations!

My show is opening at Lewis-Clark State College! This one is fairly long, running until March 18th. There is an artist reception February 3rd and I will be teaching a class on March 18t.

This is a larger painting than I have been doing recently, it is 36″x36″. I enjoy large works but in a tight space it is difficult to deal with. I will come back to more large pieces when I have a better studio situation!
This one is being packed up for an art show I am having down in Lewiston Idaho at Lewis-Clark State College.

This 24″x24″ painting was inspired by a road trip to Montana this fall. A short drive that made for a scenic getaway and a trip down memory lane.

This 16″x16″ acrylic painting was inspired by the valley south of Flathead Lake in Montana. Ninepipe National wildlife refuge is a large bird sanctuary in that great big valley.
I drove to Montana to see the National Bison Range. I had not been there since I was in my early 20’s. Unfortunately a lot of the park was closed but it was still worth the short road trip. Amazing country alive with wildlife! I took a lot of reference photos and will definitely go back in the spring to see the baby Bison!
I sent these four paintings down to a great gallery in Sacramento, California. They are each 10″x10″ acrylic paintings. I am excited to have work for sale so far from where I live!

These 16″x16″ paintings are part of the larger series of paintings I have started. I am preparing some 24″ surfaces as well and hope to have more large works soon.

16″x16″ a study in minimalism!
