Freshly varnished and ready to frame. This painting will be heading to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming!

This painting sold in February of this year through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. I am excited to have another solo show with them summer of 2022.

Another painting in my ongoing series of 12” squares. It has been a nice break working at this modest scale.

This small painting is part of a collection of works I am varnishing and framing. They will be going to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming.

A little birthday painting for my wonderful Niece who turns 19 today. she is attending college at my alma mater at WSU. It is a relatively short road trip from my house which is also a bonus.

Three new paintings being shipped to three new homes in three different states. I am grateful to my collectors and art enthusiasts. I am fortunate to make my living doing what I love.

It comes with the change to fall. The sun lower in the sky. A certain unavoidable melancholy. This painting was done exactly one year ago…

My solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina has just concluded. This piece is still available for purchase through the gallery for a limited time.
I will not be having another show until June of 2022. All the cliches of time are true as I get older… there is a lot of work to be done between now and then! My next exhibit will be at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. I will post the dates when the time is near.

I was happy to learn that this big painting sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. It was inspired by a late season boat ride last fall… the approaching winter always breaks my heart a little. Much to love about the dark season, solitude and painting… still it always brings a little extra melancholy.
