Final studio capture of this dramatic cloudscape. I am still putting together my solo show collection, photographing some of the finished pieces.
Beneath the Shine I

I am working on a new series of water paintings. These are painted on a deep cradled board. I am finishing the edges with gold leaf rather than simply framing them. Some of these paintings will be at my solo show “Dreams Between Darkness”, June 11th at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.
Shine of Spring

A tribute to the season. I am so excited for more daylight and sunshine. A little sun on the lake and the day is better.
I am working on a little collection of these 16” square water paintings. I put gold leaf on the 2” cradled side rather than framing the pieces. Some of these should be at my June solo show at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

A new painting in the studio this morning. Another tribute to the moon. Two more nocturnal painting in the works… stay tuned.

I new moonlight painting in my studio. I have been working on a few of these pieces recently. I sold a couple of them but this one might be bound for a group exhibit. Time will tell as it seems to do.

Psychological landscape work! This apocalyptic piece has a tremendous presence in the studio.

A new reel honoring the ending of the winter season for 2022. The snow is melting fast here so this year it seems accurate! This is my favorite winter painting of the year, seemed like the appropriate one to post.
