I was happy to learn that this painting was sold through Abend Gallery, in Denver, Colorado. It’s a funny thing I rarely here from galleries about sales… checks just show up in the mailbox. I am so grateful I get to spend my days painting. The paychecks are sporadic but so much more meaningful.
I sent this painting to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. It sold very quickly to an art enthusiast in Washington D.C.
I had been saving this large piece for my coming solo show but making a living isn’t easy. I have to sell some work as I go. I am so grateful to the galleries and collectors that help me keep this ship afloat.
As I work on paintings for my solo show in June, I am thinking about my previous exhibit at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. “Color Box Water” was special, it was never on the maybe list for that show (All of the paintings were sold at the gallery).
I am working on a lot of large pieces for the next exhibit. I am also taking a step back from shipping all of my work away to a variety of galleries and or selling as I paint. I am going to assemble a powerful collection and carefully decide what goes and stays. The next solo show is in June, 2022 at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.
A new commission I finished painting and have now shipped across the country. This project was arranged through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.
I received a phone call from RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. They were letting me know they had sold some of my paintings. This was one of the pieces that found a new home.
This painting has sold through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. As I prepare and frame a new collection of paintings it is great to hear about sales at one of the art galleries I work with.
A new painting that I will be varnishing and framing. This one was a commission arranged through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. So excited to be working with them.
