It is a really great contemporary art gallery, the closest one that I work with. I will be participating in a three person “waterscape” show at the gallery in the Spring of 2025. Much work to do!
Yesterday I shipped off this new painting to an art collector in Massachusetts! The buyer chose no frame but rather gold leaf edges (visible in the video). This all resulted in a lovely piece. The downside is I have gold flakes all over the studio floor.

If you watch the video you will see that I covered the edge of the painting with gold leaf rather than framing the art. I have not done this recently. When on display it reflects a subtle gold halo on the wall depending on the room lighting.

This painting was recently sold through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The trout portrait was part of a collection of wildlife portraits I painted in 2019. I always intended to hang onto one of these small paintings but I shipped them all away.
I sold this new painting! It is now varnished, framed and I just need to ship it! It is definitely helpful to have some private sales while I put together a couple collections of work for art galleries.
