I mounted three small water paintings I did for a water themed show at the James May Gallery. This gallery is in Algoma, Wisconsin, a beautiful part of the country. The town is in Door County, I have only been there one time but hope to go back! For now my paintings will be making the visit for me.

These three paintings are 10″x10″ acrylic/open acrylic on plexiglass. I am mounting them on deep cradled boards to give them a bigger presence!

Welcome spring! Here are some small paintings I did in the first half of March. These are all 10″x10″ acrylic paintings on plexiglass.
I am looking forward to the longer days and much more sunshine!

I was working on this while also painting “Sea Change”, which I recently posted. They certainly share some color and lighting approaches. I typically like to work on a few paintings at the same time. The end result being you have three paintings that work well together and it keeps the momentum up. These paintings were so large that two was plenty!
