I have spent a lot of time this summer delivering art and and visiting galleries. I am currently on a road trip to close out my “Apocalyptic Beauty” exhibit. I took a slight detour to drop off a painting I sold to a great friend recently. He immediately took down a framed print and hung this painting in its place of honor. Now off to Astoria, Oregon!

This is s waterscape from a couple years back. I am always thinking about painting, where is it taking me? Part of that is looking back at past works and seeing changes.

This is one of the paintings I sold opening night at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The exhibit features 24 of my paintings in a wide variety of sizes. The exhibit is called “Apocalyptic Beauty” it runs through August 6th!

Final capture of one of the many paintings that will be on display at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The show dates are July 13 through August 6, 2019. In related news I am finally having Giclee Prints made of a select few pieces, including this one!

Though this painting was sold, prints can still be purchased at minted.com! I have many paintings available and more from the latest challenge coming soon!

Another new painting bound for my show at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

Another one of my small paintings. I found these little frames in my studio. I don’t remember why I bought them but decided the time was right!

I am fickle about the tools and brushes I use. They generally have to get heavily broken in before I like them much. This new brush though has made It into constant rotation and I recommend it. It is a No. 12 Qualita FLAT By Creative Mark.

Another small study potentially leading to a larger work. I have worked up a few of these little waterscapes now. I am going to begin a larger painting this Memorial Monday, along these lines.
