I often wish I lived on an island. In a way I suppose I do.

On this day
A year ago I had a solo show at Elliott Fouts Gallery. This is one of the many pieces sold at that exhibit. I flew down for the opening, such a fun trip and great gallery. Part of the appeal of solo shows is the adventure!
Great Light
A proper photo of this painting. I am building a body of work for two major exhibits this year.
Light and atmospherics are always part of my painting. This one is especially powerful in person.
November’s Hue
One of five paintings bound for Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming.
Yesterday I wrapped and boxed them all up. Today we are getting more snow so they might not ship for another day or so.
Euphoria Morning
Taking a little break from my forest and snow painting. Just a brief break as the snowpocalypse makes it hard to forget!
Future Light
This one did not make my top 9 of 2019 but it was one of my favorites of the year! Available at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.
Water for Boise
Two recent water squares have shipped to an art buyer in Boise, Idaho. Hard to capture the magic of these in a photograph, the colors always seem to shift.
Have a great Sunday!
Time
A small study in the studio today. Our snow has turned back to rain and watching it on the water is always a meditative experience.
Time Laps
Another small water piece. This one sold along with other 10″ water painting I recently posted. I am varnishing them now!
Easing In
Last weeks TBT has inspired me to pursue some small water panels.
