A new seascape in the studio. Much of the subtlety doesn’t make it across in photographs, a common complaint I know. After working on so many tiny paintings this summer it was nice to give myself some larger space to explore.

The nonstop small painting continues. This painting has inspired me to work on a couple of 18” x 24” paintings of a similar vibe. I am interested in pushing the moody nature of this piece at a grander scale.

I signed this painting in 2023. It never felt complete so I spent a couple days this week working on it. Now it is varnished and soon it will be framed and shipped to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina!

A new atmospheric painting on the easel. I had prepared six 12” panels that are my current focus in the studio. Next week I will be moving on to some larger work.

I was pleased to learn that this painting was sold through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. It was an older piece I had nearly forgotten about, a nice surprise.

A new water painting! I am still painting on these 16”x12” panels, only one more left now!

A meditative little waterscape painting on a dark Friday morning. I am still painting these 12”x16” boards… I will have to switch it up a bit. Enjoy the weekend.

This large wave painting is now available at the Grand Bohemian Gallery in St. Augustine, Florida!
One of the paintings on display at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. My solo show wraps up July 5th.

This painting is framed and finalized for my upcoming solo show. “Dreams Between Darkness”, opens June 11th at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.
I am including a video of the finalizing of this piece. So much goes into a show…
