Six large paintings that are part of the collection I packed off to the Lewis-Clark State College. These are each 24″x24″.
Now that the chaos of show prep is behind me I am scaling back the size of my works again. More experimentations!

The Beauty of Nothing
My show is opening at Lewis-Clark State College! This one is fairly long, running until March 18th. There is an artist reception February 3rd and I will be teaching a class on March 18t.
Clark Fork Country
This is a larger painting than I have been doing recently, it is 36″x36″. I enjoy large works but in a tight space it is difficult to deal with. I will come back to more large pieces when I have a better studio situation!
This one is being packed up for an art show I am having down in Lewiston Idaho at Lewis-Clark State College.
Sun has gone
The dark mysterious gloom of the Pacific Northwest can at times be mood altering. It is also very beautiful and inspirational!

Frozen shorelines and January ice water serve as the subject for some recent work. This painting is 24″x24″.
December Shore
Well it is winter, this painting was inspired by the snowy country in which I live. The painting is a 24″x24″ acrylic painting on plexiglass panel.
The Way
I have been planning a series of fog related paintings, this is the first one I have gotten to. Inspired by a really foggy day in the National Bison Range in Western Montana. That heavy atmosphere all but concealed the Bison but it sure was beautiful.

Valley Floor
This 24″x24″ painting was inspired by a road trip to Montana this fall. A short drive that made for a scenic getaway and a trip down memory lane.
Winter’s Sun Series
Three acrylic paintings related to the elusive winter sun. These paintings are each 16″x16″.
Edges I & II
These 24″x24″ acrylic paintings have just been finished up. Technically I still have to sign and varnish but the images themselves are complete. These were inspired by the time just before the snow arrived!
