A tranquil post on this Friday after Halloween.

Happy Halloween! I painted this last November it seems to have the right vibe for today.

While picking up my Vashon Island show I saw friends and family. I was fortunate to carve pumpkins with my sister’s family! That is me in the foreground.

Another small piece that is heading to Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado for a group exhibit. This is one of four paintings that should have been delivered yesterday, the snows prevented that! Let’s hope they arrive safely today!
On an unrelated note… Happy Birthday to Henry Sloan, my Nephew!

I closed out my show in Western Washington. A lot of travel and time away from the studio. Great excuse to see family and friends.

These three paintings are off to Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana. Part of a holiday exhibit.

Shipping off this UGallery sale. Fancy shipping boxes always a plus.

One of my favorite pieces, painted in late December of 2018. It started me down an exciting path of exploration. I keep myself open to ideas and am willing to pursue imagery that is compelling to me even if I know it is unlikely to be popular. The Harbinger is currently on display at the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. They have a nice little collection of my work so stop in if you are on the Oregon Coast.

My two finished cow portraits. Today I am shipping them to the little pink house gallery for a Fall show. The LPHG is a small gallery in North Idaho. I usually send them paintings a couple times per year. This LPHG and Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana are the closest galleries I work with.

For people not familiar with me and my work I made a grid. Six of these nine paintings were done in 2019. I have been painting my entire life but have been painting full time now for exactly one year. Thanks to those of you that have helped support my efforts!

This small painting is all finished up. I varnished it, cleaned up the edges and hung the hardware over the weekend. Now packing it up for the long journey to Italy. I spent a few months in Siena, Italy while I was in college in the 90’s… when the world was young.
