This was a commission I finished early in December of 2020. It’s a subject people truly love, I am discussing taking on a similar commission in the near future.

I was pleased to learn this painting was sold by Elliott Fouts Gallery in Sacramento, California. I have been selling work there since 2016. I had a really fun solo show at the gallery a few years back, super gallery.
The Farewell
I was in a terribly melancholic mood watching the day fade. The beauty has stayed with me along with the sorrow.
Rise Again (Shipped)
I shipped this recent sale to its new home in Nevada. It was one of two paintings purchased by a sweet collector.

The beauty of the low sun and winter light. The magic moments are so brief, impossible to hold. Final studio capture of this piece.
