This 36″x48″ painting has been part of my exhibit collection since late last fall. Yesterday it sold at the McVarish Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. This is one of my favorite recent large scale paintings, I hope it adds some intrigue and drama to it’s new home!

This painting was a commission I recently completed. The painting is 48″x26″, with a large frame it was too big to send through the United States Postal Service, live and learn in theory.
I have a soft spot in my heart for this particular painting. It encapsulates a lot of the elements I strive for in my work. I liked this painting so much that I was abnormally fearful of dropping it or damaging it in some unknown way! Kind of funny considering I destroy work all of the time, it is part of the process of creation for me. As a result I am less sentimental about work… but apparently not always!

Two colorful little acrylic paintings each 7″x9″. I have some little boards I have been painting on trying out in frames and then sanding off after a while. These two haven’t been sanded yet! Who knows what the future holds.

Two little ocean paintings I recently finished. These were sold and will be shipped off to England in early April with some larger works.

I sold the last of the cow portraits and shipped it to Connecticut yesterday. Lulu is always excited to get involved with the packaging!

A simple little seascape that captures the light and energy well. This 12″x9″ painting is my most recent painting. I am planning on doing a number of fairly small works in the coming weeks.

This is one of those paintings that seemed to make itself. I carefully moved it from the easel to the table and was thankful.
It traveled from a North Idaho to the BPA on Bainbridge Island, part of the exhibit.

There is a lot more than painting involved in exhibits. I would prefer to stick with the painting but I like the bit of adventure involved as well.
