Two of my mini paintings that will be shipping to Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. I believe I am sending 7 of these small paintings. Abend will be taking them to an LA exhibit.
This is a pretty special piece. One of those paintings that felt like it held some kind of magic. I know when I feel that way I have to put it aside.

Two moody forest scenes. I prepared so many 12” boards that I keep painting images this size! It is a fun scale to work on as it allows for a little quicker experimentation. Ultimately I need to move back to larger panels for my 2020 exhibits.

This painting was sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. I still have a few other paintings there, excited to have work in N.C.

North Idaho is a heavily timbered part of the country. I am beginning work on a series that pays tribute to the forest. Of course I will be working on many other things as I can not help it.

I closed out my show in Western Washington. A lot of travel and time away from the studio. Great excuse to see family and friends.

For people not familiar with me and my work I made a grid. Six of these nine paintings were done in 2019. I have been painting my entire life but have been painting full time now for exactly one year. Thanks to those of you that have helped support my efforts!

A dark and rainy morning as I add some layers of color to this piece. Painting with a crazy cold so I am a bit loopy. I’m not complaining.

High resolution capture of this piece. Part of the collection of paintings I am exhibiting at the Vashon Center for the Arts. The show opening is from 6:00-9:00 tonight!
