A new colorful painting in the studio this morning. I have six 12”x12” panels and I am dedicating them all to water imagery.

Three paintings now available through Haven Gallery in Long Island, New York. They are part of an exhibit called “The Art of Antiquity”.

Fall, entering the dark season. It brings some melancholy with the beauty. Chasing the vibe on some small panels.

This is the first vertical diptych I have painted. Considering doing something along these lines on a massive scale, so many things to do…

A new painting in my studio. I started with a monochromatic sketch which you can see on the left. The final painting, a dark surreal image.

A large painting available through the RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon!

A new painting, this one was created as a diptych. It is more impactful as a stand alone image so that is how I will keep it. I love the atmosphere and simplicity of this piece.

It has been many years since I have painted a diptych, now I have a few in the works. This is the largest piece at the moment. I have always planned on painting some huge diptychs but haven’t gotten to it… this is a start anyway.

A new painting on the easel for Labor Day weekend. Reflecting the seasons change, nothing stays the same. I believe I only have one more 18”x24” board left to paint on… such a fun size.

With summer quickly winding down I’ve got those mixed feelings that come with a shift in season. Visitors will begin dropping off and the weather will cool. It’s the passing of time that brings a bit of melancholy. The tiny bit of me that is optimistic is excited to dig deep in the studio. The cooler weather is much better for acrylic painting… perhaps the greatest work ahead.
