One of my favorite new paintings that I shipped to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson Hole. I sent them two of these vertical vibrant pieces. Always excited to have work in Jackson, Wyoming!

This painting really captures our dramatic skies of the season. Clouds pressing in but the blue of summer still shining through.

I finished this commission and have shipped it to its new home in Florida. I don’t take on too many commissions but I find myself with a few in the works at the moment.

I am nearly finished with my latest commission. It was a very specific size and dimension so I custom built a cradled board to the exact measurement that the client requested. I use to outsource the woodworking aspect but people have become both unreliable and horribly expensive (winning combination). So now I do everything in-house right down to the framing.
After the board was finished I sanded it down as smooth as possible. I put four or five layers of gesso onto the wood. Finally it is time to do the painting!
It is always satisfying when the buyer is excited by the finished work. The final steps will be signing, edge detail and varnish… then packing and shipping!

I peaceful little lake painting surrounded by a chaotic mix of studio paintings from 2021.

This painting sold at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. It is part of my ongoing exhibit that will run through September 8th.

A small painting on the easel in my studio today. I am working on a number of smaller pieces at the moment. Larger work will follow.

A photo I took in my studio just before the work was shipped to my solo exhibit at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. I immediately left for Italy after shipping the paintings… now back to the states and my beloved studio.

Final photograph of this painting that has sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. One of sixteen fairly large works on display with my solo show through September 6th.

I was pleased this painting sold through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. One of my better titles.
