The other day we received 8″ of snow. It is always startling to wake up to such a dramatic shift in the world.
I abandoned what I was working on in the studio and did a couple moody snow scenes. Fun capturing the vibe right outside my window.

My largest rainbow painting to date. I will be working on some even larger pieces soon.
Happy 2020, I hope it is a great year!
I have finally started a YouTube channel! Late to the party but at least I showed up. I will be adding studio footage and inspirational videos as time goes on. Currently not much there but that will be changing.

One of my top nine of 2019. This one was sold through Elliott Fouts Gallery in Sacramento. I had a solo show at the gallery last February, this painting was part of that exhibit.

Another painting from my top nine of 2019, according to Instagram! This painting was inspired by a winter trek to the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge. The beautiful area is very far North Idaho.
The painting sold through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming!

I am painting a group of 5″x5″ paintings for an upcoming exhibit with Abend Gallery. In the future I want to work on a mix of tiny and large paintings. Small works are such a great way to experiment and play with color schemes etc.

This painting was on of my top nine Instagram posts over 2019. The painting sold through Robert Lange Studios in Charleston, S.C.
A really great gallery I hope to visit first hand someday. Preferably during a North Idaho winter.

A modest sized acrylic painting. Continuing some rainbow exploration. I have some very large art panels waiting for me!

This one did not make my top 9 of 2019 but it was one of my favorites of the year! Available at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

Merry Christmas 2019! I hope everyone is able to spend some time with friends and family. Thinking of good times past, present and future.

This painting now resides in Portland, Oregon. I captured a final photo of the piece before shipping it. Sadly the photo didn’t have the clarity of the actual art. Someday I hope to upgrade my camera…
