An ancient light casting warmth and fear. Dancing to a rhythm it blends into the night. The question lost with a crack and spark.

I decided this little painting needed more definition. I did a bit more layering to define the shapes and added a bit more saturation.
Calling this one done. It will be part of a small works collection headed to a gallery soon!

A glimmering little echo of the morning.

The fall colors have returned and are beautiful. Snowbirds are leaving and the weather is 20 degrees below average. We already had some snow, it sounds like this winter is going to be a long one. This painting is from late January and it seems appropriate.

A dark and rainy morning as I add some layers of color to this piece. Painting with a crazy cold so I am a bit loopy. I’m not complaining.

I am working on some smaller paintings for a small works exhibit. This is the first potential piece.

Last night was the show opening! I could not attend as I am back in Idaho but the gallery sent photographs. (Photos courtesy of Lynann Politte)

High resolution capture of this piece. Part of the collection of paintings I am exhibiting at the Vashon Center for the Arts. The show opening is from 6:00-9:00 tonight!

The two vertical paintings together one last time. I delivered the one on the right to a buyer. The one on the left is at my exhibit at the Vashon Center for the Arts on Vashon Island. The show opening is October 4th 6-9:00 PM.

So much work goes into a show! This is my third major exhibit of the year. California, Oregon and now Washington State! If you are near Vashon Island the Show opening is this Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Vashon Center for the Arts!
