I always loved the translucent greens in this painting. St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect day to post this one again 💚

Today started in a flurry of painting. Then I stopped to order some frames and do a podcast with a fellow painter. Back to painting on this very Good Friday.
After a year of hard work my solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina is opening! The exhibit will be in their exquisite new gallery space and opens to the public July 2nd!
I have just shipped a couple of new paintings to new homes. One is headed to the UK and the other heading to Ohio in the States.
Though carefully wrapping, packing and shipping work isn’t my favorite aspect of the gig… it is a pleasure. It always feels good to send work to clients.
It also means I have less work for my upcoming show… better get back to it. Enjoy your Friday!
My ongoing collection of small forest paintings. I am not taking the mornings for granted.
Drawn to Dark, you antiflame. Vibrations will not stop, still it turns. Threaded and lost in the eddy of fear. My bleeding gums shine bright.
A meditation cloaked in winter.
The title sounds like I am putting down some nice lady but I don’t know any Dawns!
Another autumnal painting inspired by North Idaho. The leaves have pretty much all fallen now. I was meaning to do more fall imagery, maybe I will do some larger ones as the seasons change.
A glimmering little echo of the morning.

Last night was the show opening! I could not attend as I am back in Idaho but the gallery sent photographs. (Photos courtesy of Lynann Politte)
