I sold this small painting, it is now in California at it’s new home!

A small cloud painting that is a bit of a counterpoint to yesterday’s post.

I framed and signed this little painting this morning. I was originally painting it as a study for a larger work. Now I am shipping it to a gallery in South Carolina!

The winter arrived late but with serious intent. Mornings dream like with mist lifting from the waves and through the forest. The water revealed as the color of dawn warms the sky if not the air.

The third painting inspired by the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge. I am currently working on an 18″x24″ piece in the same vein.

The final painting for my upcoming solo show is shipping out today.
The show opens February 2nd at Elliott Fouts Gallery in Sacramento, Ca. It will run the month February.

This is a new painting I am pretty excited about. Inspired by many shockingly beautiful evenings up hear in North Idaho.
This piece is going to my solo show February 2019 in Sacramento at the Elliott Fouts Gallery!
