I was invited to send some paintings to Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. They are having a landscape painting exhibit and I was glad they thought of me!

I will be sending a really large painting in July for another exhibit… more to come later!

Another moody storm piece. I love trying to capture that sense of epic power.
I picked up a bunch of new boards to paint on. Always excited when I have so many surfaces ready!

This is a TBT to late December. I am still excited about the strange surreal menace of this piece! Inspired by the dark of winter and the holidays.

I framed and signed this little painting this morning. I was originally painting it as a study for a larger work. Now I am shipping it to a gallery in South Carolina!

My newest sunset painting. I have a long day of varnishing and framing ahead of me. I need to ship off a lot of work this week to a couple different galleries. I am so thankful to have galleries selling my work… still I wish I could spend the day painting.

This morning the sunrise was an epic display of color. I had been rousted from bed by my furry friends and when I walked into the living room the light was a stunning surprise. I am so excited to see our daylight increasing and the snow genuinely seems to be melting…

Playing around with some small sunset paintings. It is is really satisfying watching these colors blend!

I have been recycling painting panels lately. Finding old paintings, removing the paint and starting new work. I dug this one out, always drawn to something about it. I put a few hours into it yesterday. Now it will live to fight another day, like me.

New work from another time. This seems like a concept for another series. Time is short and there is only so much that can be done.

This is a painting from 2016. I sold it through Ugallery which provides the fancy shipping box! Interesting looking back at older work. This one predates my studio which is kind of amazing to me.
