Yesterday I received a phone call from Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. They let me know that this piece had sold. The owner was asking for more workβ¦ so grateful for the interest in my art! I am working as hard as I can on my upcoming solo show at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria. Oregon. That said making a living as an artist is tough, you have to sell work and reserve work for showsβ¦ not enough time for it all. I am glad it is still the dead of winter so I donβt feel as guilty caging myself in the studio nonstop.
I have this one varnished, framed and boxed up. Tomorrow I will be shipping it to it new home in Minnesota⦠snows permitting.

Here I am installing a floater frame on a painting that was recently purchased. A silly little video that gives you a behind the scenes look at some of the additional work involved with my job.

This painting has sold through Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming. As I prepare and frame a new collection of paintings it is great to hear about sales at one of the art galleries I work with.

My next solo exhibition will be next summer. I do not have the dates yet but it will be with a gallery that represents me on the Oregon coast. The gallery is a long running art gallery in Astoria, called RiverSea Gallery!

It was inspired by Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. We have some magical atmospheric displays in this part of the country.
