A simple painting of tranquility.

5”x7”, acrylic
I sent these four little paintings to “The Woodland” show. It is always good to have some smaller affordable pieces available.

The leaves are yet to open on the Aspen trees. Remembering the Fall when they left in a golden blaze.

A little sunshine on Easter Morning. I hope everyone is doing well in this isolating world.

Reduction and a bit of abstraction in this mood/cloudscape.

Wandering around alone in the woods can be magical. It sounds a bit like a metaphor at the moment.

I have some 12” in the studio so I took myself way off course and played around with some water imagery. It’s good to break things up from time to time.

I am always experimenting. I paint every day but don’t post everything I do. These are a pair of experimental pieces.

I have a number of projects ongoing today, everyday. This one has a great feel.
On a related note, I always aim to rise above. It seems awful easy to be drug down into the mud.

Continuing on with my forest imagery. I am putting together a collection of paintings for my “Woodlands” exhibit opening in May. The exhibit is at Higher Art Gallery in Traverse City, Michigan.
