One of my favorite pieces, painted in late December of 2018. It started me down an exciting path of exploration. I keep myself open to ideas and am willing to pursue imagery that is compelling to me even if I know it is unlikely to be popular. This painting sold over the weekend at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. We also had some rainfall in North Idaho Saturday which I am thankful for! Wildfire season can be terribly Smokey so the occasional rain in the heat of August are a blessing.
