More inspiration from winter sunlight in North Idaho.

This one was varnished, framed and shipped to its new home in Florida.

A large new painting in the studio this morning. Continuing work on these 24”x36” panels, great size with room to roam. Inspiration is from my home water, Lake Pend Oreille.

New work happening in the studio. As you can see through the window I am living in snow country. These winter days are a great time to stay in and dedicate myself to painting. It is really what I want to be doing with most of my time anyway.
A studio video to show off this small painting.

I was happy to hear from Momentum Gallery yesterday. They had just sold this painting at their gorgeous gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.

Another small painting, exploration and experimentation for larger work. It is difficult to make such a small piece feel expressive, this one does.

From my studio I can see smoke tendrils rising from the mountains. Larger plumes of smoke in the area are adding to the constant pollution. We were fortunate to get a couple days of rain recently. It was magical and smelled so good. I didn’t want it to stop.

This dynamic waterscape is now available through my show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina!

Final capture of this dreamscape currently on display at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. This is part of a solo show that will be on display through September 6th.
