Three small water paintings freshly completed. I am putting together a pretty good collection of small works. Painting time has been pretty limited over the summer so these smaller pieces have been my focus. I work with a number of galleries that have “small works shows” in the fall. So I will be sending these smaller paintings all over the country in the coming months.

This painting will be available through Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. One of the twenty paintings in my solo show opening May 9th!
This is one of three paintings in the show on square 24” wood cradled board. I hadn’t painted panels this particular dimension since college which is an odd thing to realize.
The painting is inspired by the smoke filled skies that are far too common in Summer.

Inspiration from a gorgeous fall on Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. It has been a warm and colorful autumn in my neck of the woods. A windstorm cleared out a lot of the leaves but I’m not done with them just yet.

This painting was recently sold through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. The trout portrait was part of a collection of wildlife portraits I painted in 2019. I always intended to hang onto one of these small paintings but I shipped them all away.

I am putting together a couple collections of small works. These will be available later in the fall at a couple of galleries TBD.
A silly little reel from Instagram. This is me everyday, the hat comes and goes with the season. Enjoy the upcoming weekend!

One of two new paintings that have shipped to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming.

This painting is fairly shimmering with golden light. More inspiration from the landscape surrounding me in North Idaho.
A bit of melancholy with the loss of summer light. I am excited to see neighbors fleeing for the south. A silent winter is a painting paradise.

This painting has sold through Radius Gallery in Missoula, Montana.
It was inspired by Lake Pend Oreille in North Idaho. We have some magical atmospheric displays in this part of the country.
