I have spent this week painting some small work. It is very satisfying finishing these little pieces so quickly, a bit of a break. I will be buying more small boards to work out ideas for larger paintings.

A new painting on the easel, inspiration from my home in Idaho. I am working on many new pieces at the moment, much more to come. I am ramping up for my ponchos at Haven Gallery. I am always painting but now with a specific bit of focus.

Just finishing this painting, another dreamscape of sorts. A little darkness in beauty.

A very tranquil stretch of shoreline on the easel. This painting has a lot of subtle color and texture interplay. The calm retreat of light.

A new painting in the studio. This one is a contender for my upcoming solo exhibit at Haven Gallery in Northport, New York. The show starts late in March, I am fully focused.

New Sky drama on the easel. Inspiration from my home in North Idaho. Lake Pend Oreille is a constant source of visual motivation in my work.

I love the shift of light and color as a sunset turns to dusk. This is a new painting on my studio workbench inspired by those late hours that are beautiful and touched with melancholy.

I did a small quick painting of this idea a little while back. It appealed to me so I decided to paint this larger more refined version. Something a bit different from my landscape work, I dig it.

A new painting I finished shortly before the Christmas Holiday. Love the feel of this piece, I definitely plan to pursue more work with this atmospheric feel.

An unusual new painting now that Christmas is over. This one might be part of my upcoming show at Haven Gallery. The show opens the end of March, much to do.
