Shining (memory)

Shining – 14”x11”, acrylic

An older piece from a few years back. This one has that elusive magic that drives me forward. Making a living as an artist is a difficult task. More than simply earning enough to pay the bills. For me it is a calling and the core of this one and only life. I know most people don’t really understand that, even close friends.

Fields of Spring (SOLD)

Fields of Spring – 20”x16”, acrylic

This painting was sold through RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. I often don’t know about sales until a check shows up in my mailbox. It is always a pleasant surprise to receive a check rather than the usual “endless parade” of bills.

Shine the Way (St. Augustine)

Shine the Way – 24”x36”, acrylic

This painting is now available at the Grand Bohemian Gallery in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a town and gallery I am looking forward to seeing in person… hopefully this winter. The gallery is really enthusiastic about my work, always a positive!

First and Last

First and Last – 30”x24”, acrylic

This is a painting I am really fond of. In the scramble to make a living I rarely consider keeping my paintings, I was really tempted with this one! Instead I shipped it to Asheville, North Carolina! It is now available at Momentum Gallery in that lovely artistic community.
