Small paintings are a great way to play with compositions and color schemes. I am also excited to use these little frames!

The magic of spring when the grass is still green and growing. The days expanding and the outdoors beckon.

I finished these two small sunset paintings. I have a number of small frames and am excited to fill them! These will probably be headed to my solo show in Astoria, Oregon in July.

I have been working on this commission, inspired by the big open spaces of Montana. I really enjoyed the subtle blending of hues in the field, the glow of light. I just love that kind of country!
