This was a little series I painted just about a year ago. These paintings were sold to three different buyers. I had imagined them staying together but it wasn’t meant to be!

A small painting with a minimalist approach. Focusing on simple blends and interesting mark making.

I never took a finished photo of this painting. I still don’t have a proper photo! It is at least an interesting contrast in environments.

This morning the sunrise was an epic display of color. I had been rousted from bed by my furry friends and when I walked into the living room the light was a stunning surprise. I am so excited to see our daylight increasing and the snow genuinely seems to be melting…

I few small paintings from a busy week. As much as I enjoy working on large paintings it is fun to mix it up!
I sold these two paintings. One is bound for Germany, the other for California!

They were challenging to paint but also rewarding. One was a commission the other just for fun.

I am pretty excited about the atmosphere in this painting. It was almost finished last week but I came in with a little more shadow and contrast. It was just the thing.

This is a painting I did in November. Part of an ongoing series.
I did not include this piece in my Sacramento show or send it off to any of the galleries I work with. Really unusual piece but I’m really excited about it. It feels like the beginning of something even if it looks more like the end.

I was going to take the day off. I find myself behind and needing to get more work framed and shipped out. Still with the sub freezing temperatures not a bad way to spend the day. I just framed this one and will be shipping it to California tomorrow!
