I often think of myself as a painter of psychological landscapes. As much as I hate to label myself this is a description I have found suits my enthusiasms and interests. Painting is only worthwhile if it is in pursuit of some larger meaning, that is what keeps me digging.

I was really pleased with the look of this painting. The photo does not do it justice but that is pretty typical. This one is part of my solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. The show runs through September 6th.

I have recently thought more of travel and how I can paint when I am on trips at home and abroad. I have been experimenting with gouache on paper trying to find a quick way to capture imagery and mood.

Today is the opening of my exhibit at this beautiful gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. Well over a year of painting and passion have gone into the creation of this body of work. Check it out if you can!

After a year of hard work my solo show at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina is opening! The exhibit will be in their exquisite new gallery space and opens to the public July 2nd!

I have finally shipped off my collection of work to Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a studio shot preceding the packing.

A painting from three and a half years ago. It sold through Elliott Fouts Gallery in Sacramento, California.

I sold this painting a couple of summers ago. It felt like the right image for this beautiful Memorial Day Weekend.

I finished the painting last night, aside from the varnishing and framing. The painting will be part of my next solo show. The exhibit opens July 2nd at Momentum Gallery in Asheville, North Carolina.
