Somewhere the sun is shining.
Actually the sun is shining like crazy today. Spring has really come to North Idaho and I am thrilled! My studio on the other hand is collecting apocalyptic paintings.

Colorado
I was invited to send some paintings to Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado. They are having a landscape painting exhibit and I was glad they thought of me!
I will be sending a really large painting in July for another exhibit… more to come later!
Robert Lange Studios
Today I am shipping off these five new paintings. They are going to a really cool gallery in South Carolina, Robert Lange Studios. We have followed each other on Instagram for ages. I have always been impressed with their work so this is exciting for me!
Pink
I framed and signed this little painting this morning. I was originally painting it as a study for a larger work. Now I am shipping it to a gallery in South Carolina!
Contrast
I never took a finished photo of this painting. I still don’t have a proper photo! It is at least an interesting contrast in environments.
The setting sun
Playing around with some small sunset paintings. It is is really satisfying watching these colors blend!
Forever it seems
I dug out an older board with some texture. Stripped off the painting and made this one. It’s the classic wash rinse and repeat.
