This 24″x18″ painting has a loose quality I really like. I have chosen it to promote my upcoming show on Bainbridge Island. Currently I am completing work for a different show in Longview but I am planning for both!

This 16″x16″ acrylic painting is fresh from yesterdays easel. I took a break from the work required for the two upcoming solo shows and just enjoyed the process of creating… it is after all everything.

This is a painting I have entered into the “large formats” contest on minted. It is 24″x30″, if you want to help me out give it a vote with the attached link!

I am excited to be mailing off more work to Elliott Fouts Gallery in Sacramento, California. I have been sending work there for more than a year now and it is nice to have another venue for my paintings.
I am doing a final coat of varnish on these paintings before I ship them to California. I have struggled over the years with the best way to seal my acrylic paintings. Acrylic tends to stick to acrylic so if you do not varnish the work you will end up with a mess at some point! I am currently using Liquitex professional high gloss varnish. So far I am very pleased as it dries quickly and creates a really nice protective layer!

This 24″x30″ painting is a little glimpse of summer in the middle of our winter.

This 18″x24″ acrylic painting was inspired by Lake Pend Oreille. A subject I repeatedly visit.

Another moody cloudscape!
This is a detail from a 24″x18″ painting. I was pretty happy with this but like it better cropped. So it might be time to scrub it.

A little expressive 9″x12″ sky and water painting!

The title says it all about this 12″x9″ acrylic painting.

I am wrapping up this 36″x36″ cloud painting I did on commission. I realized it looks pretty good in my living room! It is off to California regardless.
