Lightning & Snow: the peanut butter & chocolate of nature. I took this painting outside for the lovely natural light.
Rare post featuring me with my painting.

From imagery stuck in my mind. I am painting this series of paintings until my focus shifts… it tends to shift frequently.

Wandering around alone in the woods can be magical. It sounds a bit like a metaphor at the moment.

Creating cloudscapes filled with light, shadow and mystery.

Capturing more high resolution images of recent paintings.

Two of my favorite 12” paintings are headed to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming.

Another painting in “The Woodlands” collection. I have an upcoming show at Higher Art Gallery in Traverse City, Michigan.

Today I am shipping this painting to Horizon Fine Art Gallery in Jackson, Wyoming.
Memory is a funny thing. Some of it is etched pretty deep into my mind, some of it takes flight. I learned the acronym “ROYGBIV” in a high school science class. I can’t look at a rainbow with out that popping into my mind. It is annoying, thanks school!

I am working on a series of sky-scapes. The balance of subtle and bold. This one has a bit of newly found magic.
Balance is a difficult concept for me. I have never found a great work life balance. I get a little obsessed.

Final photograph of this piece. I still have to decide which one of my shows to place this painting in.
