A square of weather and meditation. As a child I never ever painted on a square surface. I have grown to appreciate the format in my later days. Square is so void as to feel extra blank. Now I find myself enjoying the possibilities.

I was pleased to hear this painting and four other pieces were sold through the Grand Bohemian Lodge Gallery in Greenville, South Carolina.

I love the winter solstice. The days will once again stretch out and we can look forward to the light. In the meantime we can enjoy the low sun magic and winter landscape.

This is a painting I am really fond of. In the scramble to make a living I rarely consider keeping my paintings, I was really tempted with this one! Instead I shipped it to Asheville, North Carolina! It is now available at Momentum Gallery in that lovely artistic community.
One of the paintings on display at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon. My solo show wraps up July 5th.
A silly little reel from Instagram. This is me everyday, the hat comes and goes with the season. Enjoy the upcoming weekend!

This painting was part of my solo exhibit back in 2019. I am currently working hard to complete a collection of paintings for my next show at RiverSea Gallery opening June 11th!

I am working on a new series of water paintings. These are painted on a deep cradled board. I am finishing the edges with gold leaf rather than simply framing them. Some of these paintings will be at my solo show “Dreams Between Darkness”, June 11th at RiverSea Gallery in Astoria, Oregon.

A new painting in the studio this morning. Another tribute to the moon. Two more nocturnal painting in the works… stay tuned.

I new moonlight painting in my studio. I have been working on a few of these pieces recently. I sold a couple of them but this one might be bound for a group exhibit. Time will tell as it seems to do.
